Industry Groups Urge DOL To Allow Broader Use Of Electronic Communication For Retirement Plan Participant Disclosures

A coalition of 15 trade associations representing the retirement plan community, including employers and retirement services firms, is urging the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) to permit broader use of electronic communications to deliver the disclosures to retirement plan participants required by new DOL regulations.

Plan Sponsor Advisors Honored with 401(k) Advisor Leadership Award

The American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries announced the team of Plan Sponsor Advisors (PSA) from Chicago as recipient of the 2012 401(k) Advisor Leadership Award. Don Stone, managing partner and CIO of PSA received the award on behalf of the team during a session of the 11th annual ASPPA 401(k) SUMMIT in New Orleans.

Michael Copp Joins ASPPA Executive Team

ASPPA announced today that Michael Copp will join the ASPPA Executive team as Chief Operating Officer (COO) on March 19. Copp comes to ASPPA from National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), where he served as Senior Vice President of Education.
